- the 2019 ISSC conference, hosted at St. Mark’s School

The ISSC is a network of independent schools dedicated to promoting sustainability on-campus. Founded by Milton Academy in 2016, the ISSC aims to engage all students attending independent schools in a culture of sustainability. Many of our schools are uniting together to achieve a multitude of sustainable goals, targeting everything from food wastage on campus to improved awareness within the student body. Every year, we host a conference at one of our schools to join together and create an agenda. In April of 2017 and 2018, we hosted our first two conferences. They were both grand successes, and we hope to continue the good work for the next few years! On Sunday, April 7th of 2019, we will be hosting our third annual conference at St. Mark’s School! Our speaker for this year is sustainable fashion designer Nathalia Castrillion. see here for details
